Late nights in the garage!

The ability to stop thinking about life’s daily activities came hard to me. I first learned the freedom of clearing my head while riding a motorcycle across America. To stop side-thoughts ("Did I get the job in Colorado?") and really concentrate ("Oh, yeah, the Steelers play tonight.") on one task ("The stock market is finally holding above 27K!") is very relaxing to me. When I get to my garage, my mind slows down, and I can concentrate on the current task and block out all side distractions. For me, woodworking has been an outlet from my daily, stressful, and sometimes rigorous life.

It surprises me the number of people I meet who don't have a hobby; why not find an activity to take you away from everything, relax, and indulge? If you think woodworking might be an activity you would enjoy, please contact me, and we can set up a time for you to make your own board from start to finish and appreciate the peace involved with the silence and persistence of woodworking.
